REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR THIS COURSE.
Course Description: Language can be a vehicle for reimagining oneself and for discovering something previously unnoticed. The three-session workshop aims at inspiring participants to experiment with the rich and revelatory world of writing their own poetry. We will begin with stories from our lives, unearth their essential meaning and power, and craft them into poems. Each session will involve fresh writing, dialoguing and sharing in small groups, and, when ready, reading to the larger group. The group is open to those who have never written poetry, as well as those who want to enrich their poetry skills.
Location: Wilbanks Blue Wave
Dates/Times: Thursdays Mar 7 to Mar 21, 11 am - 12:15 pm.
